Chrysalis

So the premise of this idea: While exploring an apparently abandoned planet, human scientists discover a nest of gigantic alien pods, unfortunately, bringing one back to earth was not a good idea.

haha it was really an exercise from the lessons i've learned from the past couple days, but damn.. indoor setups are hard as hell..!

Crash Site

Man... Paul Lasaine is amazing! I just had to try the things he talked about, anyway... 2 most important things i got from the talk... keep your shapes strong and really, really, really try to stick with the big brush... which was actually really fun because it makes you selective about where to put your strokes... anyway i should really do more of these kinds of studies...

Swordmaster

finally a new post.. classes at CDA are done so i can finally catch up on personal work.. but if you guys haven't heard of Concept Design Academy.. they're an awesome school. Definitely worth the time and the teachers are amazing!

so i wanted to work on a Zatoichi type character... a blind master swordsman and a little bit more "loud" than Zatoichi, mysterious past and bad ass skills, had a lot of help from Carlo...!

Star Wars Bounty Hunter

here is a star wars bounty hunter I did from a class I was taking at CDA ... it was a lot of fun in that class... plus being surrounded by talented individuals = AWESOME.

anyways, there's a whole back story to this character and reasons for certain design decision but I guess I'll just leave that out!
